Cryogenic top entry trunnion ball valve is designed with a pin that holds the ball so it does not shift. This design can be used in high-speed systems. Trunnion valves use a special segmented ball. The valve supports the ball on one shaft and the opposite side of the ball on another shaft or post. The shaft can be part of the ball or separate from the ball. Trunnion valves offer less friction between the ball and the seal.

For metal seat, the temperature range is from -196ºC to 425ºC. For soft seat ball valve, the temperature range is from -29ºC to 200ºC. The pressure range is from PN6 to PN420 (150LB~2500LB).
