hydraulic ball valve Description
Hydraulic ball valves are valves specially used in hydraulic systems. They control the flow or cutoff of oil by rotating the ball. They have high pressure tolerance (up to 42MPa) and low flow resistance (flow resistance coefficient ≤ 0.6), and are widely used in engineering machinery, energy equipment and industrial automation. Its core functions include:
High-pressure cutoff: Suitable for hydraulic oil pipelines of 31.5MPa and above, such as mining equipment (YJZQ series ball valves);
Two-way sealing: soft seal (PTFE) or hard seal (Stellite alloy) design, leakage level can reach ANSI VI level;
Fast response: pneumatic/hydraulic actuators support opening and closing within 0.05 seconds to meet emergency cutoff needs.
Technical features and innovative design
Sealing and wear-resistant optimization:
Synchronous retraction of double valve seats: C-type ball valves retract the valve seats through eccentric blocks to reduce friction between the ball and the valve seat (wear rate is reduced by 30%);
Hydraulic oil auxiliary seal: Pneumatic O-type cut-off ball valves use the reaction force of hydraulic oil to balance the pressure difference and prevent the displacement of the ball.
High pressure and corrosion resistance:
Material selection: The valve body is commonly made of 316L stainless steel (corrosion-resistant), carbon steel (low-cost) or duplex steel (chloride ion corrosion-resistant);
Structural reinforcement: Full-bore welding design (such as three-piece ball valves) increases the pressure resistance to 42MPa.
Intelligent control and safety:
Anti-static design: A conductive spring (resistance ≤10Ω) is set between the ball and the valve stem to avoid the risk of static ignition;
Hydraulic control integration: Linked with the hydraulic system, it supports preset opening and closing procedures (such as slow closing in stages) to eliminate water hammer effects.
