High Pressure Trunnion Ball Valve Description
High-pressure trunnion ball valve is an industrial valve designed for ultra-high pressure working conditions. It achieves stable cutting through the trunnion-fixed ball structure. Its core feature is the pressure resistance level ≥ Class 600 (above 10MPa), which is suitable for harsh environments such as petroleum and chemical industry.
Production standards
Design specifications: API 6D-2014 (Pipeline valve structure) 58 + ASME B16.34 (Pressure-temperature grade); Material requirements: The valve body must comply with ASTM A105 (forged steel) or A216 WCB (cast steel), and the valve stem for sulfur-containing working conditions must pass NACE MR0175 sulfur resistance certification.
Testing requirements
Factory test:
Shell strength: 1.5 times nominal pressure water pressure test (≥10 minutes pressure maintenance);
Sealing performance: 1.1 times pressure inert gas test, leakage rate ≤ISO 5208 Class A (zero leakage);
Fireproof verification: 650℃ fire for 30 minutes to maintain sealing (API 607).
Performance verification:
Full pressure differential opening and closing life ≥5000 cycles (API 6D);
Ultra-low temperature applicability: -196℃ liquid nitrogen environment sealing test (deep cold working conditions).
