Full Bore Floating Ball Valve Description
The full-bore floating ball valve is a valve whose flow channel diameter is consistent with the inner diameter of the pipe. The ball is tightly sealed by the floating pressure of the medium to achieve bidirectional sealing and low flow resistance control. It is suitable for full open/closed conditions in the fields of petrochemical, energy and power.
Material and connection form:
The valve body is made of carbon steel, stainless steel (such as F304/F316) or duplex steel forging, with a pressure resistance level covering Class 150~600 (PN20~PN110), and an applicable temperature range of -50℃~180℃;
The mainstream connection method is flange connection (EN1092-1, ASME B16.5 standards), and some models support socket welding or clamp installation.
Key structural design:
Floating ball: The ball forms a dynamic seal with the valve stem and the valve seat. The medium pressure pushes the ball to the outlet valve seat, and the sealing pressure ratio increases with the pressure increase;
Fireproof safety structure: After the soft sealing valve seat is burned, the ball and the metal lip form a metal-to-metal secondary seal, which complies with the API 607 fourth edition standard;
Anti-static design: A built-in spring is installed between the ball and the valve stem to conduct static electricity out of the valve body to avoid the risk of explosion of flammable media.
