Flange Forged Ball Valve Description
Flange forged ball valve is a ball valve whose valve body is formed by forging process and connected to the pipeline through flange. The ball is driven by the valve stem to rotate 90° to realize fluid on-off control. The forging process makes the valve body have higher strength and is suitable for high temperature, high pressure and harsh working conditions.
Structural features
Forged steel valve body structure
The valve body is forged with high-strength forged steel (such as ASTM A105 carbon steel, F304/F316 stainless steel), with dense structure, and significantly better impact resistance and pressure bearing capacity than cast valve body;
The flange interface complies with ASME B16.5 standard, is fastened to the pipeline by bolts, has reliable sealing and is easy to disassemble and maintain.
Strengthening core components
Ball: Surface hardening treatment (such as surfacing of carbide), wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, high sealing stability in long-term use;
Valve seat: Optional metal seal (stainless steel + sealing grease) or soft seal (PTFE/PEEK) to meet the needs of different media;
Valve stem: Anti-blowout design, directly connected to the actuator (manual/pneumatic/electric), low driving torque.
Full-bore flow channel design
The flow channel is consistent with the inner diameter of the pipeline, with extremely small pressure loss (flow resistance coefficient ≈ 0.05), suitable for large flow delivery.

Diameter range: DN15 to DN300 (1/2" to 12");
Temperature limit:
Standard type: -29℃ to +200℃ (PTFE valve seat);
Extended type: -196℃ to +540℃ (metal hard seal);
Connection method: flange (ASME B16.5), butt welding (ASME B16.25).
