Cast Steel Floating Ball Valves Description
Cast steel floating ball valve is a valve that achieves sealing by pressing the sealing ring with the floating ball. The ball is automatically pressed against the sealing ring at the outlet under the pressure of the medium. It is suitable for one-way or two-way pipeline control of water, steam, oil, natural gas and other media.
Features
Sealing performance
Self-tightening seal: Under low-pressure conditions, the sealing is achieved by medium pressure. Under high-pressure conditions (PN16~PN420), the sealing ring needs to bear a large load. It is recommended to use a carbide sealing structure.
Low flow resistance: The full-bore design has low fluid resistance and is suitable for high-flow scenarios.
Applicability and durability
Media compatibility: Suitable for water, steam, oil, weakly corrosive acid/alkali solutions and granular media (hard seal model).
Pressure and temperature resistance: The nominal pressure covers PN16~PN420, and the temperature range is -29℃~550℃ (hard seal structure).

Pressure level
Low pressure system (such as water supply): select PN16~PN40 soft seal ball valve.
High pressure/high temperature scenario (such as steam): select hard seal structure (surfacing Stellite alloy), suitable for PN63~PN420.
Seal type
Soft seal: PTFE seal ring is suitable for conventional media (≤200℃).
Hard seal: Metal seal ring is resistant to high temperature and particle wear, and its service life can reach 100,000 times of opening and closing
