API 6D Cast Steel Ball Valve Description
API 6D cast steel ball valve is an industrial valve that complies with API 6D standard. The valve body is made of cast steel (such as WCB, LCB, WC6). The medium on-off control is achieved by rotating the ball 90°. It is specially used in high-pressure pipeline systems such as oil and natural gas.
It adopts a split casting structure. The valve body contains a ring and a fixed shaft cover. The ball, valve stem, valve seat and other components are integrated inside.

Design standards: API 6D, API 608, ASME B16.34 (pressure-temperature rating);
Pressure level: Class 150–Class 1500 (up to PN420);
Applicable temperature: -28°C ~ 300℃ (can be extended to -196℃ or 550℃ for special conditions);
Nominal diameter: DN15–DN1200 (casting process is suitable for small and medium diameters);
Connection: flange (ASME B16.5), butt welding (ASME B16.25) or socket welding;
Leakage level: Meets API 598 zero leakage (ANSI VI level).
