DBB plug valve selection principles
According to the structural characteristics and design functions of the plug valve, it can be selected according to the following principles.
① It is used to distribute the medium and change the flow direction of the medium. Its working temperature is not higher than 300℃, the nominal pressure PN≤1.6MPa, and the nominal diameter is not larger than 300mm. It is recommended to use a multi-channel plug valve.
② For equipment and pipelines in milk, juice, beer and other food enterprises and pharmaceutical factories, it is recommended to use tight-fitting conical plug valves made of austenitic stainless steel.
③In branch pipes, refining and cleaning equipment for oil field mining, natural gas field mining, and pipeline transportation, if the nominal pressure level is not greater than Class300 and the nominal diameter is not greater than 300mm, it is recommended to use oil-sealed conical plug valves.
④ In branch pipes, refining and cleaning equipment for oil field exploitation, natural gas extraction, pipeline transportation, if the nominal pressure level is not greater than Class7500, the nominal diameter is not greater than 900mm, and the operating temperature is not higher than 340°C, it is recommended to use oil-sealed conical plug valves.
⑤ In large chemical industries, in pipelines and equipment containing corrosive media, where fast opening or closing speed is required, polytetrafluoroethylene sleeve-sealed conical plug valves can be used for nitric acid-based media; For acetic acid-based media, Crl8Nil 2M02Ti stainless steel inlaid with PTFE sleeve sealing conical plug valve can be used.
⑥ In pipelines and equipment of gas, natural gas, and HVAC systems, if the nominal diameter is not greater than 200nm, packing-type conical plug valves should be used.
