Resilient wedge gate valve‌ is a type of gate valve that uses an ‌elastic gate‌. It compensates for the angle deviation of the sealing surface through the slight deformation of the gate itself, achieving low-pressure sealing and high-temperature adaptability. Its core structure includes:

Resilient gate‌: a single-piece design, with an annular groove in the middle face of the gate, which fits the valve seat sealing surface through elastic deformation to compensate for machining errors or gaps caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
‌Valve stem connection‌: the inverted T-shaped groove is movably connected to the valve stem, allowing the gate to adjust its position adaptively when closed to reduce the risk of jamming.
‌Sealing surface material‌: the sealing surface is welded with cobalt-based alloy (such as Stellite 6) or hard alloy coating to enhance wear resistance and high-temperature performance.

Working principle and characteristics
‌Sealing mechanism‌:
Low-pressure working condition: the elastic load generated by the decomposition of the valve stem thrust forms a sealing pressure ratio, without relying on the medium pressure to assist the seal.
High-pressure working condition: the medium pressure pushes the gate to press the outlet valve seat to achieve two-way sealing.
‌Anti-jamming design‌:
The elastic deformation capability enables the gate to open and close freely when the temperature fluctuates (such as above 250℃) or the valve body deforms, avoiding the problem of rigid gate getting stuck due to thermal expansion‌.
