Handwheel Gate Valve

Handwheel gate valve is a gate valve equipped with a manual rotating wheel (handwheel) as the main driving method. By rotating the handwheel, the valve stem and the gate plate are driven to rise and fall vertically to achieve full opening or full closing control of the pipeline medium. It is a cut-off valve with non-adjustable flow.

‌Core structure and working principle‌
‌Core components‌

‌Handwheel‌: directly connected to the valve stem nut, driving the valve stem to rise and fall by rotation; ‌Valve stem‌: transmits the power of the handwheel to drive the gate plate to move vertically; ‌Gate‌: wedge-shaped or parallel structure, contacting with the valve seat to form a seal (metal hard seal or soft seal).
‌Operation logic‌

‌Open state‌: rotate the handwheel clockwise → the gate plate is completely separated from the valve seat → the fluid passes without resistance; ‌Closed state‌: rotate the handwheel counterclockwise → the gate plate presses the valve seat → achieves sealing (leakage level can reach level VI)
