Swash Plate Type Check Valve

The ‌swash plate check valve‌ is a valve that achieves impact-free operation through its inclined disc closing mechanism, primarily overcoming the water hammer and impact issues common in conventional check valves under working conditions. Its key component is a mesh-like disc-shaped closure, which rotates via a rocker shaft and forms an offset with the valve seat. When the disc rotates downward and tightly contacts the seat, the valve is closed; during opening, the disc lifts away from the seat.

The ‌swash plate type check valve‌ has a disc-shaped closing element that rotates via a rocker shaft, forming an offset with the valve seat. When the disc rotates downward and tightly contacts the seat, the valve is in the closed state; during opening, the disc lifts away from the seat. Since the center of gravity of the disc moves only between fully open and closed positions, its stroke is relatively short, resulting in extremely rapid closing of the swash plate check valve.

The ‌swash plate check valve‌ features a disc-shaped valve flap ingeniously mounted on the valve shaft. Its specially designed floating and elastic metal hard-seal seat allows automatic alignment between the seat and disc, ensuring superior sealing performance. The seat sealing surface forms a segment of an oblique cone, creating an approximately elliptical sealing line in conjunction with the valve disc. This sealing plane is inclined at a 60° angle to the valve flow path centerline, while the cone axis of the seat sealing surface maintains a 15°–20° eccentric angle relative to the valve body flow path centerline. Additionally, the valve disc's rotation axis is eccentrically positioned relative to the cone axis and the sealing plane.

When the medium pressure reaches operating pressure, the valve disc opens; upon pressure reduction, the butterfly-shaped swash plate disc automatically closes. This unique structure enables the disc to perform a pendulum-like motion, with no friction or sliding contact between the angular disc seat and funnel-shaped disc during engagement or separation. Upon closure, it achieves instantaneous, impact-free sealing without external force assistance. The design also delivers high flow capacity with minimal resistance, making the swash plate check valve exceptionally efficient.
