When the butterfly valve is in the fully open position, the thickness of the butterfly plate is the only resistance when the medium flows through the valve body, so the pressure drop generated by the valve is very small, with good flow control characteristics.

Products Description

The butterfly plate of the lug type butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. Inside the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis with a rotation angle between 0° and 90°, and the valve is fully open when rotated to 90°. It is connected between two pipeline flanges with double-headed bolts, simple structure, small size, light weight, usually consists of a few parts.

Lug Butterfly Valve can be driven by manual, worm gear, pneumatic, electric, etc.; structural forms are single eccentric, centerline, double eccentric, triple eccentric, etc.; pressure range is generally PN0.1-10Mpa; nominal diameter is usually DN40-2000mm; materials can be cast steel, stainless steel, etc.. Due to the wide range of valves, the same kind of valves in different occasions and working conditions have different combinations.
