V Type Ball Valve Description
V-ball valve is a specially designed rotary control valve, its core feature is a V-shaped notch machined on the surface of the ball core, through the ball core rotation angle to accurately control the cross-sectional area of the media flow, to achieve linear adjustment of the flow rate.
Structure
- Valve body
Pressure-bearing body, usually flanged or clamped connections, the flow channel is designed as a V-shaped channel to match the ball core structure.
- V-shaped ball core
The surface of the ball is precision machined with a V-shaped notch (the angle is usually 30°-90°), which creates a gradual change of the flow area when rotating.
- Stem and Actuator
The stem connects the sphere to the actuator (electric/pneumatic), transmitting torque for precise rotation; the actuator supports automatic control with a 4-20mA signal.
- Sealing system
Soft seal: PTFE or RPTFE seat, suitable for room temperature clean media;
Hard seal: metal valve seat (stainless steel + tungsten carbide coating), resistant to high temperature and pressure and particle abrasion.
- Auxiliary structure
Double bearing support design reduces starting torque and enhances stability.
