Side Entry Floating Ball Valve

Side-entry floating ball valve is a special design of the floating ball valve. Its valve body adopts a side-mounted structure and enters the pipeline system through a side flange or threaded connection, which is easy to install and maintain.

‌Core components‌:
‌Floating ball‌: There is no support shaft. The medium pressure pushes the ball close to the outlet valve seat to achieve sealing. The sealing surface is made of PTFE or hard alloy (temperature resistance range -196℃~425℃);
‌Side-entry valve cover‌: It is fixed by bolts or clamps, supports quick disassembly and assembly, and is suitable for frequent maintenance scenarios;
‌Limiting mechanism‌: The patented limit groove cooperates with the supporting surface to prevent the ball from excessive displacement and cause deformation of the valve seat, thereby improving the sealing life.
‌Connection method‌:
Flange side entry (DN15-DN800, PN16-PN64) or threaded side entry (DN15-DN50), suitable for pipeline layout requirements such as chemical industry and energy.

Working principle
‌Sealing mechanism‌:
The medium pressure acts on the ball, pushing it to move toward the outlet valve seat to form a self-tightening seal;
The valve seat adopts a spring pre-tightening structure to compensate for the wear of the sealing surface after long-term use.
‌Flow direction control‌:
The ball rotates 90° to achieve full opening/full closing, and some models support flow adjustment (the opening is linearly related to the flow);
The side-entry design allows the fluid to enter from the side of the valve body, reducing the flow resistance coefficient (Cv value can reach 60).
