The high-pressure flange ball valve uses a manual (or electric) actuator to drive the spindle and rotate the ball through a 90° range, allowing it to cut off, connect, or regulate the flow. Whether driven by a worm gear, electric motor, or pneumatic system, the valve has a finite position mechanism for both opening and closing. Additionally, there is an indicator mechanism to show the ball's position.

For metal seat valves, the temperature range is -196ºC to 425ºC. For soft seat ball valves, the temperature range is -29ºC to 200ºC. The pressure range is from PN6 to PN420 (150LB to 2500LB).
