To put it simply, the automatic gate valve uses an electric actuator to control the valve to open and close the valve. It can be divided into upper and lower parts, the upper part is the electric actuator, and the lower part is the valve.

Automatic gate valves are generally driven by motors, which are relatively resistant to voltage shocks. Solenoid valves are quick-opening and quick-closing, and are generally used in places with small flow rates and small pressures that require high switching frequency. The opposite is true for electric valves. The opening of the electric valve can be controlled, and the states are open, closed, half-open and half-closed. It can control the flow of the medium in the pipeline but the solenoid valve cannot meet this requirement.

  • Design features of electric gate valve:

①The valve adopts pressure self-tightening seal or valve body and valve cover gasket sealing structure, which is trustworthy! Safe and reliable to use.
②The valve disc adopts a double gate plate with a universal top structure in the middle, which can automatically adjust the consistency of the sealing surface of the valve disc and the valve seat to ensure the sealing of the valve. At the same time, this structure is easy to maintain, saves costs, and has good valve disc interchangeability.
③The sealing surfaces of the valve disc and valve seat are made of cobalt-chromium-tungsten carbide by plasma spray welding. The sealing surface has high hardness, is resistant to friction and scratches, and has a long service life.
④The valve stem is made of nitrided steel, with surface nitriding treatment, high hardness, scratch resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life.
⑤The electric device is equipped with a torque control mechanism, an on-site operating mechanism and a manual and electric switching mechanism. In addition to local operation, it can also perform remote operation, PLC control, 4~20mA current input and output intelligent control, etc.
⑥The manual valve is opened by a manual mechanism or a handwheel upon impact. Reduce valve operating force.
⑦ The valve can be installed at any position in the pipeline, and carbon steel or alloy steel valves can be selected according to the medium and the temperature of the medium.
⑧During initial installation and debugging, the valve must be manually opened to about half of the position to avoid damage to the valve or electrical equipment caused by reverse connection of the motor phase sequence.
