Threaded Check Valve

Threaded check valve is an automatic valve connected by a thread. It relies on the flow of the medium itself to open and close the valve disc, which is used to prevent the medium from flowing back and protect the pipeline equipment. Its core functions include:

One-way flow control: only allows the medium to flow in one direction, and the valve disc automatically closes when it flows in the opposite direction;

Anti-backflow protection: prevents pump reversal, pipeline medium backflow or container pressure relief.

Structural features

Connection method: The inlet and outlet ends of the valve body are designed with internal threads (DN≤50mm) or external threads, which are suitable for small-diameter pipes. Sealing tape or sealant is required during installation;

Valve body material: Common materials include cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel (such as 304/316L). Stainless steel is selected when corrosion resistance is high;

Sealing form: hard seal (metal to metal) or soft seal (elastic valve seat), the leakage level can reach level IV (hard seal) or level VI (soft seal).

Application
Industrial piping system: prevent medium backflow after the pump stops, protect the pump body and drive equipment;
High-pressure auxiliary system: provide pressure compensation for pipelines that may be over-pressured to avoid system damage;
Compact device: threaded connection saves space and is suitable for instrument measurement pipelines or internal pipelines of equipment.

Selection tips
Pressure level: PN16~40 is selected for conventional working conditions, and forged steel valve body or carbide seal is required for high-pressure scenarios (such as steam systems);
Medium characteristics: Stainless steel or PTFE-lined valves are preferred for corrosive media (acids and alkalis); Swing or elastic sealing structures are suitable for fluids containing particles;
Connection form: Internal thread connection (code 6) is suitable for external pipe threads, and external thread valves need to strengthen sealing treatment.
