Cast Iron Check Valves

The disc of the cast iron valve opens by hydraulic pressure difference and its own weight. This valve is suitable for most horizontal pipes in the tank. It can automatically prevent media backflow and protect upstream equipment. This valve is suitable for water and steam medium pipelines with an operating temperature of less than 200°C to prevent one-way reverse flow of the medium.

Cast iron check valve The function of this type of valve is to only allow the medium to flow in one direction and prevent the flow in the opposite direction. Usually this kind of valve works automatically. Under the pressure of fluid flowing in one direction, the valve disc opens; when the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-weight of the valve disc act on the valve seat, thereby cutting off the flow.

Cautions

1,Don't let the check valve bear the weight in the pipeline system, and the large check valve should be independently supported so that it is not affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.
2,Installation, note that the direction of media flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body.
3,Lifting vertical flap check valve should be installed in vertical pipeline.
4,Lifting horizontal flap check valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline.
