Pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve Description
The pneumatic soft-seal butterfly valve is a valve device used for on/off control and flow control in pipeline systems, mainly applied in petroleum, gas, chemical, water treatment, and cooling water systems of thermal power plants. This valve consists of a valve body, pneumatic actuator, valve plate, and other components, using corrosion-resistant materials such as rubber or PTFE as seals. Actuation methods include pneumatic, manual, and worm gear drive.

Soft Seal Design
The sealing pair consists of a metal (such as a stainless steel disc) and a non-metallic soft material (such as nitrile rubber, fluororubber, or PTFE), forming an elastic deformation sealing structure.
Some models use a combination sealing ring with "soft T-shaped multi-layer stainless steel sheets on both sides," combining the strength of a metal hard seal with the elasticity of a soft seal, achieving zero leakage.
Eccentric Structure
Double eccentric design: The valve plate and valve seat sealing surfaces are eccentric, reducing opening and closing friction and extending service life.
Triple eccentric design: Further optimizes sealing performance, suitable for extreme conditions such as high temperature and high pressure (e.g., steam pipelines).
Bidirectional Sealing Function
Installation is not limited by the direction of media flow; it can be installed in any direction, adapting to complex pipeline layouts.

The pneumatic actuator drives the butterfly plate to rotate 90° to complete the full opening or closing, with an action time of only a few seconds to a dozen seconds, making it suitable for high-frequency operation (such as opening and closing 5-8 times per hour).
