Production standards
Design specifications: API 6D (pipeline valve structure) 310 + ASME B16.34 (pressure-temperature grade); Material requirements: The valve body is mandatory to use ASTM A351 CF8M (316 stainless steel) or CF8 (304 stainless steel).
Testing requirements
Shell strength: 1.5 times the nominal pressure water pressure test (pressure maintenance ≥ 10 minutes without leakage, API 598); Sealing performance: 1.1 times the pressure inert gas test, leakage rate ≤ ISO 5208 A grade (zero leakage); Special verification: Fire test (API 607), cryogenic test (-196℃ liquid nitrogen environment) performed as needed.
