Forged steel floating ball valve operates by using two seats at the import and export points to clamp the ball core in the middle. Rotating the valve stem drives the ball core to rotate 90° to achieve the switching action of the ball valve. When the ball core is closed, the semicircular shape at the top of the valve stem aligns with the semicircular groove of the ball core. Under the pressure of the medium, the ball core can move in the direction of the outlet, hence the name "floating ball."
