Products Description
The casting two-piece floating ball valve primarily consists of the valve body, bonnet, stem, ball, and seats. When the ball rotates to contact the seat, the valve is in the closed position; when the ball rotates away from the seat, the valve is in the open position. The opening and closing action of the valve is achieved by a driving device (e.g., pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, etc.) that moves the stem.
The two-piece structure enhances the stability of the ball, ensuring it remains centered even under high differential pressure, effectively preventing ball jamming or misalignment and extending the valve's service life. The floating design allows the ball to slightly shift under medium pressure, automatically adjusting and sealing against the seat, further improving sealing performance. This ensures a tighter shut-off, preventing medium leakage when the valve is closed.
